Mr. Stevenson

Welcome to

Mr. Stevenson's Virtual Classroom

Allow me to introduce myself-

Professionally: After I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan in 1999 with an Associates Degree in Philosophy, I went on to pursue Economics, Sociology, and Psychology. After a few years at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, I focused on History and Elementary Education. I also worked as a Teen Camp Director and Head Counselor-Behavior Management at Camp Helen Brachman (at-risk youth population between ages 8-15 from downtown Milwaukee). In 2007, I graduated from UWSP with Bachelor of Science Degrees in History, Broad Field Social Sciences, and Elementary Education. In the same year, I am fortunate to say that I accepted a position at Tuscano Elementary.

I am proud to say that during my time at Tuscano, I have been very involved in the school community. You can see me at most school events, PTO Meetings, and I even live within the Tuscano Community. For the first six years at Tuscano, I was a Fifth Grade Teacher and the Technology Site Coordinator. The last two years were as the Fifth Grade Team Lead. Five years ago, I accepted the position as our school's Interventionist. Since then, I have continued to grow in new and exciting ways. I have earned my Master's Degree in Professional Learning Communities, and have accepted the positions of School Outreach Coordinator and Grades 2-5 Gifted Teacher. I am proud to work with students and teachers at all grade levels, and am excited to see the difference that I can make.

Socially: I was born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin (pop. 50,000) in September of 1978. My father is a supervising market analyst for an auto insurance company, and my mother is a retired nurse. I have one younger brother named Eric, who has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. I currently own a home within the Fowler Elementary School District. I enjoy sports, the outdoors, and being involved in the community.

If you have any questions, or just want to talk, feel free to contact me any time during the week. Just stop by room 216, call me at 623-707-2333, or drop me an email at . I look forward to hearing from you.
