Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
We hope this letter finds you and your family well. We wanted to take a moment to inform you about an important infrastructure project currently underway at our school. Tuscano Elementary School is currently undergoing a comprehensive roof replacement project. Due to the natural aging process, both our flat and shingled roof sections have reached the point where replacement is necessary to ensure the safety and integrity of our school building.
Project Details:
- Timeline: The project is expected to take several weeks to four months to complete.
- Work Hours: To minimize disruption to our school day, the roofing company is working during evening and overnight hours from 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
- Supervision: The project is under close oversight and supervision by the Fowler School District director of facilities and support services.
We have carefully planned this project to ensure minimal impact on daily school operations and student learning. By scheduling the work during non-school hours, we can maintain our normal educational programming while addressing this critical facility need.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority throughout this project. All necessary precautions are being taken to ensure the work area is secure and that school operations continue smoothly.
We are committed to maintaining open communication throughout this process. Should there be any changes to the timeline or any information that affects our school community, we will promptly share updates with you.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work to improve our school facilities. This investment in our building’s infrastructure will serve our students and community well for many years to come. Thank you for your time and attention.
Warmest Regards,
Ms. Gomez, Principal
Tuscano Elementary School
