Welcome

Welcome to Tuscano Elementary School, home of the Jaguars.

Welcome

Welcome to Jaguar country! Tuscano Elementary School serves approximately 700 preschool through fifth grade students. We believe all children are capable of success, and that is our goal; success for everyone. Tuscano is striving to earn a letter grade of an A from the state, and with the help of our community and parents, we believe Tuscano will receive an A letter grade. We look forward to educating your child to the best of our abilities. We are excited to returning to 100% normalcy this school year, welcoming parents and community members to campus and resuming field trips. We are excited for an exciting, fun, and academically successful 2023–2024 school year.

Tuscano’s 2023–2024 Reading Challenge

Tuscano will implement a reading challenge this year. As part of our nightly homework, we will challenge every student to read for 30 minutes. We will have a standardized grade level form that the student and parent need to complete. We will honor every student that completes this challenge every day at the end of each month at our Kids at Hope Student of the Month Assemblies. So make sure your child is reading every day and be honored every month!

A Message from Our Principal

Hello there Jaguars!

I want to say thank you to everyone for welcoming me to the Tuscano family! I look forward to working with our parents, community, business partners, and staff to provide your child with the highest quality education possible.

About me: I have been in education for 17 years, all in this district. I started at Tuscano 17 years ago as a teacher’s assistant. I am thrilled to be back as principal. I have been married for 26 years, my wife is the special education director here in the district. I have three children, two of them are teachers here in the district, and my oldest is a welder. I have two grandsons, one is seven and the other was born on June 20.

I have an open-door policy and you are always welcome to come see me with concerns, questions, or just to chat to get to know me. I am thrilled to be back at Tuscano and look forward to working with everyone for many years to come.
